Don Perry, CPA - Retired, Masters in Taxation
Don Perry received a degree in Accounting from the University of Ohio in 1968. He worked for a large firm in Ohio until 1974, when he decided Colorado was the place to be.
In Denver, he joined a large regional firm, Stone, Gray & Company, which merged with nationally recognized firm Coopers Lybrand. He achieved a Masters in Taxation from the University of Denver in 1978 and began his own practice in Denver, moving to Boulder in 1980. He has been providing public accounting consultation and advice to clients in Boulder, Denver and across the United States for almost 50 years. He is proud to note that some of his clients from his early days remain clients to this day.
Don's areas of expertise include closely held businesses, construction taxation, oil and gas taxation, and estate planning. Don has been an instructor for the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and was an assistant at the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program.
